A paraglider is said to be 'fit and well' after crashing into the cliff at Beachy Head over the weekend.
The incident took place just after midday on Sunday 18 February, according to coastguards.
Police, ambulance and rescue teams came to the paraglider's aid, along with two RNLI lifeboats and a search and rescue helicopter.
The coastguards say the paraglider was winched off the cliff by the helicopter and then recovered to the top of the cliff.
