    Detectives in Folkestone believe the same gang is behind two violent robberies in the town, including one in which the victim was attacked in his own home.

    Around 19:00 GMT on 15 February a 38-year-old man was attacked by two men and a woman in St John's Church Road, with his wallet, cash and some tobacco being taken.

    At 22:15 GMT the same day a 61-year-old man let a woman into his home in St John's Street, and was then pushed to the floor by two men who forced their way in.

    The trio escaped with £400 in cash.

    Border Force officers have found 5.8 million cigarettes hidden in a lorry at Dover's Eastern Docks.

    The Polish-registered vehicle was stopped on 12 February when it arrived from Calais.

    The cigarettes were on 24 pallets, hidden under six pallets of insulation materials.

    Leading after the first run with track record time of 51.66 seconds, she clocked 51.03 in her second run.
