    A teenager who's gone missing from home in Essex is believed to be in the Swale area.

    Chloe Chambers was last seen on Saturday.

    The 15-year-old has links to Sittingbourne, Sheppey and East Kent.

    Police say she's likely to be using trains to move around.

    A cull of deer is taking place at Ashdown Forest in East Sussex.

    It comes after a series of accidents in which people and animals were killed and injured.

    Wildlife campaigners say culling is an outdated practice.

  3. Second man arrested over Margate deathpublished at 12:28 Greenwich Mean Time 12 February 2018

    A second man has been arrested in connection with the death of 44-year-old Kevin Simpson in Margate.

    Police were called to Victoria Road on Thursday 1 February at around 22:00 GMT where a man was found lying on the pavement.

    Paramedics pronounced him dead at the scene.

    A 50-year-old man of no fixed address was arrested on suspicion of manslaughter and theft on Thursday.

    A 46-year-old man from Margate who was arrested on Tuesday is also now being investigated on suspicion of manslaughter and theft, a Kent Police spokesman said.

    Both men have been released while inquiries continue.

    Police are concerned for a missing teenager from Littlehampton.

    Jamal Clarke was last seen on Wednesday getting on board a train in the direction of London at 05:30 GMT.

    The 13-year-old hasn't been seen since.

    It is believed he has gone to London. He has links with Walthamstow in London, Norfolk and Oxford.

    Jamal is 5ft 9in tall with short black hair.

    He was last seen wearing a grey Puma tracksuit with blue hooded top underneath, black duffle coat with fur hood trim and black Nike Air Max trainers.

    The tree fell on Old London Road, between Priory Road and Ashburnham Road, and is currently being removed.
