The chair of Neuroblastoma UK has shared a statement following Bradley Lowery's death.
The six-year-old battled the disease since he was 18 months old.
Dr Guy Blanchard said he spoke on behalf of "all in the neuroblastoma community" when expressing his sadness over the news.
He added: "Bradley's story raised significant awareness of a disease that is responsible for one in six of all children's cancer deaths."
Six-year-old Bradley Lowery was given honorary 41st place in the race card for the Grand National in April.
Aintree Racecourse have today shared their condolences after the boy's death.

Bradley Lowery has passed away one day after his hero and "best friend" Jermain Defoe broke down while talking about the little boy.
The six-year-old and the ex-Sunderland player formed a close friendship when Bradley became a mascot for SAFC.
