    Police are trying to track down a 21-year-old man wanted for burglary, disqualified driving and a recall to prison.

    Luke Allan, also known as Luke Duggan, frequents the Bishop Auckland and Barnard Castle areas.

    American rock band The Killers have announced they will perform in Newcastle as part of their tour.

    You no longer have to settle with singing Mr Brightside in a club while your shoes stick to the floor, on 10 November you can see the band live at the Metro Radio Arena.

    A woman was raped at her home in Ashington earlier this week.

    The victim says the attacker was an intruder who entered her home in the early hours of Wednesday.

    He is described at a white male, about 5ft 5in and of slim build.

    Extra officers are on patrol in the North Seaton area and DCI Helen Anderson, who is leading the investigation, advised locals to be "vigilant".
