The father of a toddler who disappeared in Germany almost 37 years ago has arrived in the country to see a fresh search of near where she was last seen.
Richard Lee described coming back to Paderborn as like returning to his nightmare.
Last night when we walked down to the scene of the search for the first time, I saw that nightmare being relived. It was in his voice and it was in his tears.
He’s a military man and he knows how to fight. For the last seven years I’ve been following that fight, interviewing him on dozens of occasions.
Always measured, always in control of his message and the injustice he feels Katrice and his family have been served.
Last night as we stood at the banks of the Alme I saw, just for a few minutes, that fight make way for the raw agony of what’s unfolded over the last 36 years.
Met with the emotionally brutal sight of the work going on to find his little girl's body, it became almost too much for him. I was humbled by his bravery and dignity in the face of that reality.
He still says he doesn’t believe the search will find Katrice but he’s facing this scene for her.
Police have released more details on what has led to a road in Houghton-le-Spring being closed - it is because of a report of a chemical spillage after a tanker overturned.
Police and fire crews are at the scene after the crash near Market Place, which happened at 10:18.
Lake Road has been closed both ways between Nesham Place and the A690 junction for the clear up.
Northumbria Police say there is not believed to be any wider danger to the public.

The sentencing is due to begin of a gang of people traffickers who brought vulnerable people from central Europe into the UK and enslaved them as a "family business".
The Newcastle-based Rafael family, of Roma origin, applied for benefits in their victims' names and kept the money for themselves, as well as only giving them a fraction of the pay they earned in tough jobs across the North East.
Their victims, some of them homeless people picked up in Slovakia and the Czech Republic, were forced to sleep in cellars and crammed into shared rooms in Newcastle's West End.
They were not allowed control over their bank accounts, their lengthy trial at Teesside Crown Court was told.
Angelica Chec, 30, formerly of Farndale Road, Ruzena Rafaelova 37, formerly of Brighton Grove, Juraj Rafael 38, of Bilbrough Gardens and a 17-year-old who cannot be identified were all convicted of conspiracy to commit slavery, conspiracy to traffic persons with a view to their exploitation and conspiracy to commit money laundering, the CPS said.
Ruzena Rafaelova, 58, formerly of Strathmore Crescent, was found guilty of conspiracy to commit slavery and conspiracy to commit money laundering, the CPS added. Roman Rafael, 33, and Marian Rafael, 39, had earlier pleaded guilty.

A 76-year-old woman involved in a three-vehicle crash on the Spine Road near Cramlington on Monday morning has died, police say.
It is believed that two vehicles - a silver Skoda and a black Kia - were involved in the collision as they attempted to avoid a third vehicle, a grey Vauxhall, which is thought to have broken down in one lane.
The dead woman has not yet been named.
Nobody else was seriously injured.
Police have appealed for witnesses.

The father of the missing Hartlepool toddler Katrice Lee is in Germany, as military police continue their "forensic search" of a riverbank.
Katrice (pictured below) vanished from a shopping centre close to the military base where her father was stationed with the Army 36 years ago.
Richard Lee has described his visit to an excavation site on the banks of the River Alme in Paderborn as "a return to his nightmare."
About 100 police and military personnel are carrying out the search after re-analysing evidence gathered during the original investigation in 1981.
It focuses on a green saloon car seen parked in the search location the day after the toddler went missing.
A photo-fit was released last year of a man seen at the military shop where Katrice disappeared, holding a child similar to Katrice and getting into a green saloon car.
Police said it may or may not be the same car, but they are keen to identify it.

It happened at Langley Moor on the A690 after this HGV became stuck under the railway bridge.
