The government says every adult can expect to be offered a chance to get boosted by the end of December - a month sooner than previously planned, to try to slow the spread of the Omicron variant.
Allison Heathcote, a matron at the vaccination hub, said: "It's always something we've expected, change has become the norm, so it is something we're always pre-empting.
"We need to be prepared and we have several centres and we all work well with pre-planning and trying to predict what's next."

Dr George Rae, a North Tyneside GP and the British Medical Association’s regional chairman, urged everyone to get a booster to help fight off the Omicron variant.
Quote Message“If you have only had the first two doses of the vaccine, then your protection is around 30-40%. If you have had the booster, that goes up to 70-75% protection against getting a mild disease and certainly against getting a more severe outcome.”

While an estimated 70 Tory MPs are expected to vote against the government on the planned introduction of mandatory Covid passes, the measures are expected to pass with Labour’s backing.
But Emma Lewell-Buck, Labour MP for South Shields, said she would not be among the opposition MPs voting with the government.
“We are slowly sliding here into a dictatorship,” she told BBC Radio Newcastle.
“I will always do the right thing by my constituents and I don’t think voting for these passports is the right thing to do for my constituency.
“I think this is just the thin end of the wedge. If we let them start to impose things like this, where does it stop?”
There will also be a vote to replace self-isolation with daily tests for double-jabbed contacts of positive cases and a retrospective vote on mandatory mask-wearing in many indoor settings.
