    Savia, a group of survivors and victims of institutional abuse, set up a protest outside Dublin Castle, on the route of the Popemobile.

    Margaret McGuckin, chairperson of Savia, said that each shoe represented the children who were abused by priests.

    Pope Francis offers praise for the Capuchin monks at the centre in Dublin and says they offer an example for all priests.

    "You accept life as it comes," he says. "And if you have need to, you forgive."

    "This is a little admonition, but it makes me think of so many priests who live asking about the life of others and, in confession, (are) a little too inquisitive, wanting to know and know.

    "Your witness (is) a sign to priests to listen, to be close, to forgive and don't ask too much."
