    NI Electricity has had a busy day repairing faults across the power network - the latest is that 32,000 customers are without power.

    NIE says power has been restored to more than 61,000 customers following damage caused by Storm Ali.

    "Our teams will be working into the night to restore power to the homes and businesses still without electricity," an NIE spokesperson said.

    Six flights out of Belfast International Airport were cancelled because of Storm Ali. People travelling to and from Edinburgh, Manchester and London were affected.

    Fallen roof tiles outside DUP leader Arlene Foster's constituency office in East Bridge Street, Enniskillen, resulted in parts of the town centre being shut, BBC News NI's Julian Fowler reports.

    The latest from Northern Ireland Electricity Networks is that 46,000 customers have had their electricity restored across Northern Ireland.

    However, a further 47,000 customers remain without power.

    "We're still experiencing strong gusts which will continue to cause more faults throughout the afternoon. "Whilst emergency teams are working as fast as they can, we are advising that not all customers will have power restored this evening," said a spokesperson.

    A passenger on a flight diverted from Belfast International to Liverpool has spoken of a "scary" attempt to land the plane.

    The passenger said the flight from Milan was "all over the place" when it approached Belfast International, before the landing was aborted.

    "When we eventually touched down, the pilot said: 'We are now at what looks like Liverpool'," said the passenger.

    The person added that passengers have been told the terminal is completely full and they have to remain on the plane.

    Ryanair says the diversion was due to high winds and that the flight "will return to Belfast shortly". The airline apologised to all affected customers.
