    House of Commons
    Parliament

The Labour leader raises the Leave fishing flotilla which is currently sailing up the Thames - remarking he can't see them outside Parliament at the moment. He has a serious point, claiming that the UK government has failed to ensure the fair distribution of the UK's fishing quota and that small enterprises have been shut out with three firms dominating. The PM says that British fishermen can't get a better deal outside the EU as they do at the moment.

  6. Jeremy Corbyn presses PM on agency staff and migrationpublished at 12:12 British Summer Time 15 June 2016

    House of Commons
    Parliament

The two leaders now enter more detailed exchanges about the EU, including the employment of agency workers from across the EU undercutting the wages of UK staff and the impact on communities of migration. Mr Corbyn urges the PM to restore a migration mitigation fund in place under the last Labour government which was scrapped in 2010. The PM says the government is looking at something similar at the moment and also suggests that new rules on the use of agency staff will also be examined.

  7. Tory MPs 'cannot put their heads in the sand' after Brexitpublished at 12:11 British Summer Time 15 June 2016

    Stephen CrabbImage source, Reuters

Work and Pensions Secretary Stephen Crabb has defended George Osborne's warnings about the need for public spending cuts in the event of Brexit, saying "the national interest is at stake".

Criticising Conservative MPs who have signed a letter saying they would block any such cuts, Mr Crabb told the BBC that if the UK left the EU there would be a choice to either "put your head in sand" and "risk losing control of the economy", or take "another round of rough decisions" to tackle the economic black hole caused by Brexit.

"Every MP is signed up to the mission of getting this country living within its means," he added.

Mr Corbyn now moves on to the NHS, accusing Leave supporters who claim leaving the EU would free up more money for the health service as "wolves in sheep's clothing" and masquerading as saviours of the NHS. In response, the PM praises the chair of the commons health committee Sarah Wollaston who switched from Leave to Reman - saying it was a "brave decision".

  10. PM: I'm not cosying up to Murdochpublished at 12:09 British Summer Time 15 June 2016

    House of Commons
    Parliament

    Jeremy Corbyn

The Labour leader starts by asking a question on the phone hacking inquiry and whether the government will honour its pledge for a second phase of the Leveson inquiry. He accuses some on the Tory front bench who back the Leave campaign of "cosying up to Rupert Murdoch". The PM says that he has met victims of phone hacking and says, in terms of the referendum, no-one can accuse him of being in the press proprietor's pocket - that's a reference to the fact that the Sun is backing Brexit.

    Sir Bob GeldofImage source, PA

Sir Bob Geldof has been shouting at Nigel Farage from his rival flotilla on the Thames.

"Here are the facts about fishing," he yelled. "One, Britain makes more money than any other country in Europe from fishing. Two, Britain has the second largest quota for fish in Europe after Denmark. Three, Britain has the third largest landings. Four, you are no fisherman's friend. You were on the European Parliament Fishing Committee and you attended one out of 43 meetings."

  18. Does Alistair Darling speak for the whole Labour Party?published at 11:59 British Summer Time 15 June 2016

    The Daily Politics

Seema Malhotra says Labour has been "very clear that we won't be supporting a Budget that sees cuts to the NHS".

She says she wants to send the message that there is "a brighter future inside the EU".

So Alistair Darling doesn't represent the Labour Party, she's asked?

"He's talking in terms of how we would need to address the hole in public finances, but we've been clear we would not be voting for more cuts."

Andrew Neil gets frustrated that he can't get an answer from Ms Malhotra about whether Mr Darling speaks for the party.

"I've had enough so let's not waste our time with any more of this," he says and cuts the interview off there.

  19. Coming up: Prime Minister's Questionspublished at 11:58 British Summer Time 15 June 2016

    House of Commons
    Parliament

Prime Minister's Questions is coming up very shortly. It is the last session before the EU referendum and should be fairly lively.

The exchanges between the party leaders - who agree on staying in the EU - may be more cordial than usual but there are likely to be some interesting interventions from the Conservative backbenches.

  20. Osborne Budget a 'press stunt', says Labour's John Mannpublished at 11:58 British Summer Time 15 June 2016

    The Daily Politics

Labour Leave campaigner John Mann backs shadow chancellor, and Remainer, John McDonnell's position on George Osborne's "emergency Budget".

"It's not a proposed Budget, it's a press stunt by George Osborne and a rather silly one," he tells Andrew Neil.

He describes it as a "last attempt to shore up the vote" amid signs Remain is going to lose.

Votes are going to to the Leave side "even in Scotland" claims Mr Mann.
