Local politicians have been airing their views on the EU Referendum result on BBC Radio Cambridgeshire this morning.
Quote MessageA fantastic result but that’s just the end of the beginning. All the hard work must now start. What the politicians of this country must do is to listen to the fact that a significant proportion, a majority of those that voted want us to leave the EU. We can’t have any backtracking, we really have got to just move on this now and leave the EU.
Nick Clarke, UKIP

Vicky Ford, Conservative MEP for the East
Quote MessageOf course I'm deeply sad about a decision that I don't believe in, but I do want to say that I am proud to represent this county as its MEP and on behalf of the Labour party we do respect the decision of the people ... do I agree with it, of course I don't.
Richard Howitt, Labour MEP for the East
