    Gordon Rainey has just carried the baton along the streets of Dundonald. He is the treasurer of South Ayrshire Access to Sport.

    He is dedicated to the organisation which helps to promote exercise and sport among disabled people in South Ayrshire.

    Conor McAdam is the first person in the relay for Dundonald - he looked very proud as he posed for pictures with his family before his moment with the baton.

    Celia emailed earlier to wish Conor well and urge him to "keep up" his table tennis.

    Former Commonwealth athlete Peter Smith runs with the baton in Symington. He was the national champion in 1989 in 3m springboard diving and competed in two Commonwealth Games - Edinburgh 1986 and Auckland 1990.

    He is now a coach and has dedicated the last 25 years to the sport.
