Ian Queen, who will be a baton bearer in Girvan later today, emailed in to say:
"Just wondering, given that this is the Queen's baton, should that be the Queens' baton since Her Majesty is not the only Queen to carry the baton!
"My involvement in the relay is because of my leadership in the Boys' Brigade. Forty years ago I met the boy who would become my best man, and I his. He is part of the police escort through Girvan, I'm hoping to get a photo with him. Very excited."
It took us a wee while for us to get the joke Ian, but we will give you that one.
Daniel Gibbons also emailed in. He said: "Love the live stream - especially as it gives me a flavour of what to expect.
"Friday is part of an unbelievable week - last Saturday I was awarded the Basketball Scotland 2014 National Volunteer of the Year for what I do with Ayr Storm basketball club. I get to take part in the Commonwealth Games Baton Relay as one of the relay participants in Mossblown, recognition of the many years involved in basketball as a player, coach, referee and a mentor."
Good luck to Ian and Danny. Are you a baton bearer today or do you know one? Send us your thoughts by email.
It is expected to be sunny and dry for the Queen's Baton Relay in South Ayrshire today.
The BBC's Jay Wynne has the latest forecast.
Colin Duthie, a baton bearer in Ballantrae, was proud to point out to police officers that the gemstone inside the Queen's Baton was sourced from the nearby Ailsa Craig.
People in South Ayrshire seem to be very proud of their connection to the baton and this year's Commonwealth Games. Find out more about how the baton was designed and made.
