    Tonight's relay finale will be held in Hamilton Palace Grounds against the backdrop of the mausoleum.

    All of the South Lanarkshire baton bearers have been invited to line the Grand Avenue in a guard of honour as the baton arrives.

    The party will include fireworks, music and dance displays.

    The baton team are now on a lunch break. It's a great day for a picnic in Calderglen Country Park.

    After lunch the relay will resume in East Kilbride at around 14:40 BST.

    We've received this email from Paul Byrne:

    "My dad Denny Byrne will carry the baton through East Kilbride village.

    "He is president of East Kilbride Youth Club and has been coaching young footballers for 30 years.

    "Aged 68, he was brought up in the shadow of Celtic Park. His first house in Kinnear Road is where the Chris Hoy Velodrome and Emirates Arena now stand."

    Kay Blair took the baton from Andrew Malone.

    The 70-year-old has devoted her life to the Girls' Brigade and Boys' Brigade movements and is the founder member of 1st Dalserf and an active officer in 1st Strathaven.

    Judo coach Andrew Malone is jogging with the baton in Law.

    His is dedicated to the sport and the people who nominated Andrew say he gives up every night of the week and most weekends to support and coach at Judo competitions.

    Scott Cunningham is walking through the village of Law, proudly sporting his MBE and accompanied by his guide dog.

    He was awarded his MBE for his achievements which included raising over £150,000 for Guide Dogs for the Blind.

    Dennese Whiteford, the last baton bearer in Carluke, was greeted by a can-can dance from the Queen's Baton Relay security team waiting to take the baton on to the bus for the convoy to Law.

    There are shouts of "go, Stuart!" as several people run alongside Stuart Barbour.

    Stuart is described as an "absolutely selfless young man giving up his time to help others".

    His hard work with Scottish Autism was recognised recently with a Saltire Volunteering 500 hours award and he has also achieved the Duke of Edinburgh Bronze Award.

    Cillia McCleary is running with the baton.

    She is a retired PE teacher who was nominated for her passion for sport.

    Cillia has run the gymnastics club in Strathaven for 20 years and also coached the hockey and netball teams in local schools.
