Laura Miller ran with the baton in Airdrie a little bit earlier. She had some fantastic support during her leg of the relay.
The convoy has been greeted by cheers in Chapelhall, where four people will carry the baton.

Local butchers in Airdrie are handing out burgers to the police escort. A couple of officers wolfed them down before running off again.

People from every area in Scotland have been asked to support a second team during the Commonwealth Games.

Leslie Roy, another baton bearer in Airdrie, is president of Scottish Athletics and transport and logistics manager for Team Scotland at 2014 Commonwealth Games.

Kyle Findlay is being accompanied by a piper for the full length of his baton leg.
Airdrie baton bearer Paul Frew is a volunteer for Hope for Autism in North Lanarkshire.
He is on the autistic spectrum himself and aims to be a positive role model to the children he teaches to swim and takes to the gym. He has also volunteered in Bolivia.
Graham MacDonald has taken the baton in Airdrie.
Graham, 73, has spent 10 years volunteering in sports. He helps the Scottish badminton team and volunteered at the Special Olympics in Glasgow in 2005 and the International Children's Games in Lanarkshire in 2011.

Ron Rodger was Scottish Junior Men's gymnastics champion in 1955 and at the age of 83 still coaches gymnasts.
Over the years he's also managed Greenfaulds Sports Centre and the Tryst Sports Centre.
We've arrived in Cumbernauld, where Leigh Valentine is the first person to carry the baton.
Michael Cavanagh is carrying the baton in Cumbernauld. The former wrestler, who competed for Scotland and Great Britain, is now the chairman of Commonwealth Games Scotland and a member of the Glasgow 2014 board.
He tweeted, external earlier: "Looking forward to carrying the Baton tomorrow in Cumbernauld and catching up with Ron Rodger, who took me to the 1970 Opening Ceremony!"
The 1970 Commonwealth Games was held in Edinburgh, with the opening ceremony taking place at Meadowbank Stadium.
