    Louise Young took some time out from her work here at the BBC to watch Christine Snedden - her aunt - carry the baton in Camelon this morning.

    Louise said: "Today was one of the happiest days of the year! Watching my Auntie, Christine Snedden, with a smile on her face from ear to ear ready for her baton bearer moment made me feel like such a proud niece!

    "The buzz in the air came from the excitement and an energy that could only come with an event like this. What an amazing opportunity to be part of the build up to the games! I can't wait for the action! Go Queen's Baton Relay!"

    Chloe MacDonald has just received the baton and is posing for pictures.

    Thirteen-year-old Chloe is a keen swimmer and cross-country runner, but her main passion is football. For the past five years she has played for Falkirk FC Girls, and now also helps coach the St Mary's Primary School girls' team.

    George Hendry emailed to share Jill Hendry's experience of carrying the baton earlier.

    He said:"Jill would like to thank everyone involved with the baton relay this morning in Falkirk, particularly Amber who was a great support.

    "Jill and Bazil had a great time."

    We're currently making our way to Bo'ness, where our first baton bearer will be Craig Mathieson.

    Craig is a polar explorer who has taken part in expeditions to both the North and South Poles.

    In the top left of the video you should be able to see part of the Roman Antonine Wall.

    The 2nd Century stone and turf fortification original spanned the central part of Scotland between the Firth of Forth and the Firth of Clyde.

    Big cheers in Falkirk town centre as Ria Marshall carries the baton. You may remember we mentioned Ria earlier this morning.

    She runs a support group from mothers and children, and we have received lots of messages of support.

    Louise Frickleton emailed "Huge congrats to Ria Marshall from 'Falkirk for mums' carrying the baton in Falkirk today. Well done! From Louise at 'Bo'ness for mums."

    Kelly Edmond also says: "Just wanted to wish my amazing friend Ria 'good luck' for today and sorry I can't be there to support you. The work Ria does is amazing!"

    John Bunyan was one of the first people to carry the baton at the Falkirk Wheel.

    A former coach who led Team Scotland at the 2006 Commonwealth Games, John is known for his work in basketball in Falkirk and across Scotland.

    His is also the head coach of the Falkirk Fury, a club that has produced more than 40 international players as well has 10 professional players.
