    That's all from today's Queen's Baton Relay in Perth and Stirling, where we had some great weather and some even better crowds.

    It's been a day of sporting trophies for the relay. The baton was joined by the Scottish Cup at McDiarmid Park, home of current holders St Johnstone FC.

    It then parachuted on to Gleneagles golf course, where the Ryder Cup was among the welcoming party.

    Louise Martin CBE is vice-chair of the Commonwealth Games Scotland Organising Committee. She competed at the 1962 Commonwealth Games in Perth, Australia and reached both 100m and 200m backstroke finals. She was made a CBE for services to the Commonwealth Games in 2003.

    Swimmer Kerry represented Scotland at both the 1998 and 2002 Commonwealth Games, and held the long and short course Scottish records for the 50m and 100m butterfly for eight years.

    As Stirling Swimming's head coach, she has seen two of her students - Martin Cremin and Joe Welstead - selected for Team Scotland this year.

    Rugby player Shaun won the National Youth Cup three years in a row with Stirling County. He was also a member of the Scotland sevens team at the 2011 Youth Commonwealth Games.

    Away from the relay, Malaysia's world number one badminton player Lee Chong Wei has been ruled out of this month's Commonwealth Games because of a thigh injury.

    The two-time defending Commonwealth Games champion, 31, suffered the injury at the World Men's Team Championships in Delhi in May.

    Things are looking good in terms of the weather for the relay today. Laura Gilchrist, duty meteorologist, says there is "a small chance of a shower, but otherwise looking dry with sunny spells and light winds. Highs of 17C."

    Back in Muthill, the baton relay team met Roxy the collie. She fell awkwardly when trying to catch a ball in the park and her back legs became paralysed, but she happily trotted along with the relay today.

    A big crowd, complete with a piper, watches on as the baton is passed to trainee dentist Morag MacLarty. Morag ran the 1500m for Team Scotland at the 2006 Melbourne Commonwealth Games. She finished first at the 2008 European cross-country championships when competing with the UK under-23 team.

    Runner Hayley competed for Team Scotland at both the 2002 and 2006 Commonwealth Games, reaching the 1500m final both on both occasions.
