    We've arrived in Auchterarder, where Calum MacIntyre carried the baton. Calum, 20, has helped teenagers suffering from cancer after losing his younger sister to a form of the disease earlier this year.

    Baton at Gleneagles with Ryder Cup

    First Minister Alex Salmond was at Gleneagles to welcome the baton back to solid ground. Also in the welcoming party was the Ryder Cup, which golfers will compete for at the course in September.

    If you're watching the stream above, you'll see the baton has arrived at Gleneagles in Bond-like drama. The Royal Electrical & Mechanical Engineers (REME) Parachute Display Team, led by Warrant Officer Shane Cook, has just skydived on to the famous golf course with the baton in hand.

    We're in Muthill now. The name 'Muthill' possibly derives from 'moot hill', a place where villages used to gather to settle local disputes. Today's gathering in Muthill will, hopefully, be slightly more jovial than those meetings of yesteryear.

    Our final baton bearer in Crieff is Lesley McConnoch. She's taken part in the Special Olympics four times in both bowling and swimming.

    On top of that, Lesley fundraises for both the Special Olympics and a local Crieff club for people with disabilities.

    William Topaz McGonagall, who is widely regarded as one of the worst poets of all time, immortalised the town in his poem "Crieff". He wrote:

    "Ye lovers of the picturesque, if ye wish to drown your grief,

    Take my advice, and visit the ancient town of Crieff."
