    The current baton bearer is Margaret Flockhart, who is the oldest baton bearer in the Perth and Kinross leg today.

    She's been a Boys Brigade leader for over 30 years, and has helped provide activities and sports for youngsters.

    We have just arrived in Methven. Here is some local trivia for you.

    In 1306, Robert the Bruce was defeated by the English in the Battle of Methven. After the battle, Bruce went into hiding and it's this period of his life which the 'Bruce and the spider' legend comes from - when he was inspired to 'try, try again'.

    If you're watching our live stream above you'll see the baton was joined by the Scottish Cup, which St Johnstone won in May. The baton, and trophy, were accompanied by our first baton bearers of the day - James O'Donnell and Anna Gordon.
