    That's all from today's Queen's Baton Relay, where we've travelled more than 200 miles from Stirling to Castlebay. The weather wasn't perfect, but it didn't stop the crowds from turning out to cheer on the baton bearers.

    Thanks for all your tweets, flagged with #bbcbatonrelay, external. We hope to have some more pictures from Barra for you in the morning when we're back from 09:00 BST, as day 25 of the relay's 40-day tour of Scotland sees the baton journey around Eilean Siar.

    The relay will visit Daliburgh, Linaclate, Benbecula Airport, Tarbert, the Butt of Lewis Lighthouse and Stornoway. Weather permitting, the relay will also travel to the isolated island of St Kilda.

    The last we heard the baton was on its way across the island to Castlebay, but the mobile signal is a little bit patchy so we might not be able to bring you any pictures from the last section of today's relay until the morning.

    Earlier today the baton was carried in Tyndrum by the Blue Knights motorcycle club. Paul Gallagher, a serving constable with Police Scotland had the honour.

    Eeyore is the mascot for Kirsty's Kids, external, a charity that the club supports. It provides respite to children with terminal illnesses and their families.

    Earlier we mentioned that Inverness Leisure was anticipating the baton's arrival on Saturday.

    It seems that the Team Scotland parade uniform for the Commonwealth Games Opening Ceremony isn't to everyone's taste.

    Designer Jilli Blackwood, external has responded to the criticism of the kit in an interview with Radio Scotland saying "Everyone's allowed their own opinion and I didn't expect everyone to like them.

    "This has been a long process and has been talked about. The athletes have been included all the way along. The brief said they wanted a 'high-impact statement'."

    The relay is now heading for Castlebay where the last five of today's baton bearers will take their turn.

    Castlebay is the main village on the island of Barra, external, and sits almost right at the southern tip of the Outer Hebrides.

    Inverness Leisure are getting excited about hosting the relay at the weekend, and it's only Monday.

    As the baton makes its way to Castlebay, it's the perfect time to look back on some of the relay highlights.

    Last Friday, the baton made a spectacular entrance in Perth when it arrived in a flotilla of kayaks.

    BBC Scotland radio presenter Fred MacAulay was the baton bearer who had the honour, and one of those to welcome him back to dry land was 11-year-old Sean Marshall.

    Sean's grandmother Linda Corcoran, who took these fantastic pictures, said: "A momentous day for the Fair City and an overwhelmed Scout Helper. Sean Marshall is first to hold the baton with baton bearer Fred MacCauley."

    As mentioned earlier, CBeebies' Katie Morag will be landing on Barra's beach with the baton.

    Katie, played by Cherry Campbell, is a small red-headed girl who lives with her family on the remote and beautiful fictional Scottish island of Struay.

    Based on the much-loved series of books by Mairi Hedderwick, the television series was filmed on Lewis in the Western Isles. A second series has recently been commissioned.

    Steve Cleaton, from BBC Weather, has sent us the latest forecast for the today's baton relay.

    "There'll be a fair few showers around today, some of them heavy. But inbetween some bright or sunny spells will also make an appearance.

    "Temperatures typically around 13C in frequent showers, but may rise a few degrees higher in any sunshine."
