    The police runners were caught out by the heavy downpour of rain and are getting soaked.

    Their reaction was a fine rendition of Singin' in the Rain - which became a classic after Gene Kelly performed it in the 1952 MGM musical.

    The stage musical version is coming to Glasgow's Theatre Royal in August.

    I think she tired herself out though as she took it easy and walked the rest of her distance.

    The relay is now under way in Callander with James Black, the first baton bearer, looking great in his kilt.

    The baton will be on the move quite a bit today as it travels through Stirlingshire. By the end of the day, it will have arrived on the Western Isles.

    It is currently travelling between Doune and Callander.

    Today, the relay will travel between Stirlingshire and the Western Isles. Our live video shows lots of people are already lining the route to cheer the baton bearers on.
