    Stuart Crawford has sent a message of support for Fiona McCartney, who will carry the baton in Bearsden.

    He says: "Just wanted to wish Fiona good luck on carrying the baton this morning.

    "Your Grampa, Ronnie Whitelock, ex-Scottish sprinter and a great supporter of Scottish athletics, would be very proud.

    "Mum, Dad and Kyle."

    The Queen's Baton will begin its journey through East Dunbartonshire in Bearsden and will travel through towns and villages including Milngavie, Bardowie, Torrance, Lennoxtown, Milton of Campsie, Kirkintilloch and Lenzie. The relay will then finish in Bishopbriggs.

    Good morning and welcome to Day 36 of the Queen's Baton Relay in Scotland.

    Today the baton relay will travel from Bearsden to Bishopbriggs as it travels around East Dunbartonshire.
