Journalist and television presenter Kirsty Wark is just about to take the baton as the relay in Glasgow is set to resume.
John McGowan carried the baton past the Doulton Fountain this morning.
The Doulton Fountain, external is believed to be the largest terracotta fountain in the world, and commemorates Queen Victoria's Golden Jubilee in 1887.
It stands 14m (46 feet) high and measures 21m (70 feet) across the largest of its five tiers. The fountain features sculptures representing Australia, Canada, India and South Africa.

Glasgow's George Square is all geared up for the Games.
Dr Whiteford is the chair of the Scottish Spina Bifida Association, and this year became the president of the International Federation for Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus.
Her work in the health service and for charity was recognised in 2009 when she was awarded the Evening Times Scotswoman of the Year.
She is described as an "inspiration to many people, disabled and able-bodied".

The baton is taking a trip on the third oldest underground system in the world, the Glasgow Subway.

Natalie Turek and Harold Brown look like they enjoyed every moment with the baton as they had honour of taking part in the Buchanan Street section of the relay.
The baton has just emerged from the Lighthouse, which is situated in Charles Rennie Mackintosh's famous Herald building.
The converted former offices of the Glasgow Herald newspaper now provide exhibition space and Scotland's national centre for design and architecture.

The baton travelling is down one of Glasgow's busiest shopping streets, and it appears to be surrounded by a wall of rope.

Stewart Murison got in touch via email to share his pride.
"My girlfriend Emma Brunjes has done a leg of the baton this morning. She carried the baton at the youth theatre in Merchant City," he wrote.
"She raised thousands of pounds by running marathons in the last few years and has volunteered with local kids this year so fully deserves a shout out!"

Glasgow 2014's Head of Sport, Greg Warnecke, proudly held the baton in the air as he carried it into Glasgow Caledonian University.
A former basketball coach, Greg has worked across a number of large sporting events including the Australian Paralympic Youth Games, 2007 World Swimming Championships and 2006 Commonwealth Games in Melbourne.
