When will the SNP accept that the European Parliament told Scotland before the last independent referendum that Scotland would have to apply to join the EU and there was no guarantee that they would be accepted. Also, what currency would they use? It would have to be the Euro assuming Scotland was accepted into a failed European Union.

I’m already hearing lots of previous no voters, wanting independence. People voted No as it was promised our position within the EU would be safe. That is no longer the case. The only viable option is independence. It must happen.

I was under the impression that some residents in Scotland voted leave - was the reported votes for and against yet another Westminster lie? Sometimes in life we don't get what we had hoped for - move on, be adult and graceful in defeat. Tomorrow is another day. As for Nicola Sturgeon, she will bang on and on and on until she gets independence for Scotland - then she will throw it all away by joining the EU.

Scotland already voted to stay in the UK knowing full well that yesterday's referendum was on the cards. It also knew that Brexit was a very possible outcome. In June 2016 Survation, ComRes and Opinium put Brexit ahead in the polls. Scotland voted to be part of the UK with it's eyes open and the UK has in turn voted to leave the EU. Time to accept the results and move on.

One of the main arguments of Better Together was “Vote for independence and risk being thrown out of the EU, vote NO and your EU membership is safe as a part of the UK”. Now the whole of Scotland voted to stay in the EU and is being dragged out by English and Welsh voters. If this is not a significant and material change of the circumstances in which Scotland voted against independence I don’t know what is. Saying they voted once and don’t get to vote again no matter what happens is nonsense.
