  16. Cars stuck in drifting snow in Aberdeenshirepublished at 07:45 Greenwich Mean Time 2 March 2018

Around 30 vehicles are stuck because of drifting snow on the A92 north of Inverbervie.

Bill Lennox from Aberdeenshire Council told BBC Scotland drifting snow was causing problems across the north east.

    Quote Message

Things have certainly been difficult overnight. We've had moderate snowfall all over Aberdeenshire - all be it patchy. The bigger issue now is drifting of snow onto roads, particularly right down our east coat Fraserburgh, Peterhead, Mintlaw areas are particularly bad, as is Laurencekirk and Inverbervie. And as usual the higher routes on Upper Deeside and Upper Donside are struggling a wee bit.
