    Economy Secretary Keith Brown says Holyrood has always been an outward looking parliament with international relations.

    Mr Brown says the Scottish government has extensive discussions with the EU and these will expand after the EU referendum.

    He says the government has a responsibility to listen to the 62% of Scottish people who voted to remain in the EU.

    Scottish Labour MSP Richard Leonard asks for an update on the government's manufacturing plans and if a location has been decided for a manufacturing centre of excellence.

    Mr Brown says the plan has only recently been produced and therefore a lot of these questions are yet to be resolved.

    He says he will write to Mr Leonard with answers to his various questions.

    Mr Leonard is happy with this and welcomes a strategy on manufacturing.

    Economy Secretary Keith Brown says the Scottish government thought the Aberdeen City Deal should be more expansive than the UK government proposal.

    Mr Brown says that is why the Scottish government put forward a further £254m.

    He says that was a substantial contribution and far more than the UK government proposed.

    Mr Brown says only London has had a higher level of inward investment.

    He says Scotland has a very good track record on this but the EU referendum vote will challenge that.
