If your collection day is Thursday or Friday, then bins and bags will be collected.

  17. Homeward bound, a day latepublished at 14:43 Greenwich Mean Time 3 March 2018

Three schools have had an extended stay at the Urdd's Llangrannog residential centre in Ceredigion because snow prevented them from returning home.

Radnor Primary and Hawthorn Primary from Cardiff and St Andrews Major from Dinas Powys, Vale of Glamorgan, all made the decision to stay rather than drive back into extreme weather.

The three schools arrived on Wednesday and were due to leave Friday but had to stay until Saturday afternoon.

Llangrannog staff laid on extra activities to keep the children occupied during the unexpected extra stay.
