    North Wales Police Roads Policing Unit have warned that Denbigh Moors are "completely impassable" this morning as some of their colleagues discovered.

    Arriva Trains Wales and Network Rail Wales & Borders have reopened a number of routes in addition to routes opened yesterday, but are operating a significantly limited service.

    The Cardiff to Pontypridd and Aberystwyth to Shrewsbury services will now be operating;

    In addition the following services will continue to operate as yesterday:

    • Crewe to Chester
    • Chester to Holyhead
    • Wrexham to Bidston
    • Swansea to Carmarthen
    • Bridgend to Swansea is operated as a planned bus operation

    Powys is bearing the brunt of the road closures, with the following still in place:

    - A44 at Llangurig

    - A44 at Crossgates

    - A458 at Welshpool

    - A470 at Caersws (this is due to a fallen tree)

    The clear-up is continuing at Holyhead marina after yesterday's winds saw 87 boats break their moorings.

    Holyhead Coastguard said 80 vessels were damaged, sunk or ran aground.

    Experts from the Maritime and Coastguard Agency Counter Pollution and Salvage Branch are advising because damage to fuel tanks could be an issue.

    The Met Office has now extended the yellow "be aware" weather warning covering Wales. It was originally in effect until 11:00 on Saturday, but that will now last until 11:00 on Sunday.

    Scottish Power say nearly 400 of its customers have no electricity, mainly in north Wales.

    They've been "working tirelessly" to rectify that and have an extra 160 engineers helping.

    They're also working with the Red Cross and providing hot food and drinks to people without electricity.

    It's hoped everyone will have their supply back on tonight by dinner time.

    Western Power Distribution says it has 106 homes without power in south and mid Wales.

    All Stagecoach services have been suspended today, but the company says it is assessing road conditions and hopes to run some routes on main roads later.

    However, it says it is "unlikely" services in Brecon, Brynmawr and Ebbw Vale will run due to the poor state of the roads.

    Cardiff Bus suspended its services earlier, but hopes to start running some during the morning.
