The number of bookings made for the 'air bridge' between Guernsey and the Isle of Man has "exceeded all expectations", Deputy Gavin St Pier has said.
About 1,000 visitors from the Isle of Man are expected to come to the bailiwick under the joint government agreement.
Deputy St Pier said the States was looking to develop further air bridges with other jurisdictions.
He said conversations would be held with the Icelandic ambassador on Monday, and he had also written to the prime minister of the Faroe Islands.
The States said any decision to establish a new air bridge would be dependent on "comparable transmission, border controls and robust testing and contact tracing capabilities".
