    BBC Radio Guernsey

Guernsey's insurance companies have expressed concern over a new pricing structure for A&E treatment, that they say is hindering them when making claims.

A month ago, Health and Social Care (HSC) changed its pricing structure to a four category system that doesn't detail specific treatments.

But, the result of this is that insurers say they don't have adequate information to evaluate a claim.

In a bid to resolve the issue, the HSC is meeting with insurers and in the meantime is dealing with claim queries on a case-by-case basis.
