Robot conductor YuMi makes opera debut

A robot conductor has made its debut at the opera in Pisa.

YuMi - produced by the Swiss robotics firm ABB - conducted a live orchestra and opera singers.

But some onlookers said it lacked the full-bodied enthusiasm of a human.
