National Citizen Service: value is more than cost

Stephen Green, chair of the National Citizen Service, has defended the David Cameron initiative, saying "cost is only one half of the equation" and that we need to look at "outcomes".

He defended the service on the Today programme after serious concerns were raised over the use of public money by the flagship project – which has cost tax payers half a billion pounds so far.
