PM announces plans for more UK made vaccines

Boris Johnson has said the UK will make more vaccine doses in the North East of England.

Mr Johnson said alongside the vaccine rollout, the UK is "building up our own long-term UK manufacturing capabilities" for vaccines.

He said Novavax is going to make a jab at Fujifilm in the North East, and GlaxoSmithKline will also finish and bottle vaccines in the area.
