Squirrel hops on board train in Grays and takes seat

Video captured the moments a squirrel boarded a train and took a seat alongside other passengers.

The pictures, filmed by Kim Smith, were taken on a c2c service between Grays and Purfleet in Essex on Monday lunchtime.

She said: "The squirrel hopped on at Grays just as the doors closed. I often take the train but I've never seen anything like this before."

The squirrel left the train safely soon after.
