Murder suspect arrested over Father's Day stabbing in Hereford

Christian Bagley was stabbed as he returned from seeing his young daughter on Father's Day

A man has been arrested on suspicion of the murder of a dad knifed to death on Father's Day.

Christian Bagley was stabbed in the arm and back under Hunderton Bridge in Hereford after visiting his daughter on 21 June. He died in hospital.

Detectives have renewed appeals for information about another man seen in the area the day before Mr Bagley was attacked.

A 30-year-old man remains in custody, said West Mercia Police.

Images of the other male wanted in connection with Mr Bagley's murder have been reissued by police.

He was seen on the river towpath and entered the Costcutter shop on Belmont Road just after 23:30 BST on 20 June.

Police said he was described as white, believed to be in his twenties and spoke with an Eastern European accent.
