Police divers search the River Wye in Hereford

Divers are searching the River Wye in Hereford in a bid to find a weapon used in a suspected murder.

Christian Bagley, 30, was found with stab wounds to his arm and back near Hunderton Bridge on 21 June and died in hospital

West Mercia Police said divers were searching for the handle of the weapon, thought to be a common kitchen knife.

Three men arrested on suspicion of murder have been released without charge.

Officers appealed for anyone with information to come forward.

"The handle could be of a plastic or wooden material and approximately 4 inches in length," Det Supt Adrian McGee said.

"If you have seen anything which resembles this or have any further information please contact us immediately."
