A woman found dead in a village near Lincoln has been named by police after they charged a man with her murder.

Holly Bramley (latterly Metson) was found dead in Bassingham during a police search.

Lincolnshire Police began their investigation on Sunday amid concerns for the welfare of the 26-year-old at Shuttleworth House in Lincoln.

Nicholas Metson, 27, of Lincoln, has been charged with murder and will appear at Lincoln Magistrates' Court.

Another 27-year-old man remains in custody.

Police said searches were ongoing in the Bassingham area and residents would continue to see an increased police presence.

Det Ch Insp Jennifer Lovatt said officers were supporting Ms Bramley's family.

"Inquiries are still ongoing, and we would urge anyone who has any information or footage to get in touch, as even the smallest bit of information might prove vital to our investigation," she added.
