Three charged over Wythenshawe shooting murder

Three people have been charged with the murder of a man who was shot dead in a parked car in south Manchester.

Ian Taylor, 44, was a passenger in a car parked on Floatshall Road in Baguley, Wythenshawe, when the shots were fired on 13 June.

Nathan Frazer, 18, of Woodhouse Park; Stuart Horner, 31, of Benchill and Derek Cotterill, 26, of Woodhouse Park, have been charged with his murder.

They are due before Manchester City Magistrates' Court later.

Andrea Jackson, 39, of Royal Oak, is charged with attempting to pervert the course of justice and appeared before Stockport Magistrates' Court on Monday.

Four other people have been arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender and bailed pending further inquiries.

Mr Taylor was shot at about 2315 BST and was taken to hospital, but died a short time later.
