Police investigating the death of a teenager shot dead in a Liverpool street have made two further arrests.
Vincent Waddington, 18, was found with gunshot wounds following a crash between a car and a scrambler bike in Banks Road, Garston, on Tuesday.
A 41-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of possessing a firearm following a raid at a house in Garston earlier, Merseyside Police said.
A 41-year-old man was also held on suspicion of drugs offences.
Mr Waddington's family had earlier released a statement rejecting media reports that their son was involved in gang activity.
'Normal intelligent lad'
They said: "He was a normal young intelligent lad, which any working class family would relate to."
The latest arrests bring the total number of people held in connection with the shooting to six.
Among them, a 25-year-old man from Speke has been arrested on suspicion of murder and released on bail.
A 20-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession of a firearm.
And a man aged 31 and a 32-year-old woman, arrested on suspicion of perverting the course of justice, were later released without charge.
