Norwich subway death: Sergiusz Meges suffered haemorrhage

A homeless man who died in a Norwich subway had suffered a haemorrhage, an inquest has heard.

Sergiusz Meges, 29, from Poland, was found unconscious and not breathing in the underpass on St Stephens Street on 10 June.

Norfolk Coroners Court heard a post-mortem examination revealed Mr Meges had died of a haemorrhage and splenic lacerations.

The inquest was adjourned until January 2016.

Norfolk Police is treating his death as unexplained.
