Four people arrested over a crash left a Nottinghamshire police officer in a critical condition have been released on bail.
PC Diederik Coetzee, 54, who was off duty, was hurt in a crash with a car at 18:00 GMT on Friday while cycling in Blidworth Lane, near Blidworth.
The car failed to stop. Three men, aged 25, 29, and 32, and a 36-year-old woman were arrested earlier this week.
PC Coetzee remains in a critical but stable condition in hospital.
All four people were arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving, failure to stop at the scene of a collision, and failure to report a crime.
A Volkswagen Corrado, which was believed to have been involved in the collision, has been seized by police and is undergoing forensic examination.
Police said they had been examining CCTV footage, visiting mechanics and scrap metal dealers and speaking with local residents as part of their investigations.
