What council plans to force all new homes and buildings to be constructed as net zero carbon by 2025 mean for you?

Oxford City Council is consulting on its Local Plan 2040 which would include new environmental rules for builders.

It would bring forward the requirement for all new homes and businesses in Oxford to be built as zero carbon.

BBC Reporter Bethan Nimmo has been looking at the plans and explains what a net-zero home is and how you might achieve it.
