Sheffield community urged to 'step up' over Philip McCauliffe death

Murder detectives have called on people in Sheffield "to step up" and provide information about a man's death.
Philip McCauliffe, 67, was found dead at a property in Ironside Walk, Gleadless, on 15 December.
Det Insp Simon Cartwright said: "I believe the answers we need are held within the community."
Two men, aged 35 and 39, and a 37-year-old woman had been arrested on suspicion of his murder and were bailed pending further inquiries, police said.
A post-mortem examination concluded Mr McCauliffe died from a bleed on the brain and police said they now believed he was assaulted on Ironside Walk on 14 December.
Leading the investigation, Det Insp Cartwright said: "Today, one week on since Philip's body was discovered, I am asking members of the community to step up and tell us what you know.
"I believe the answers we need are held within the community.
"If you know something, I urge you to do the right thing and pass on the information which may be the final piece of our jigsaw.
"Please help us seek justice for Philip."
Det Insp Cartwright said the force had been "working 24/7 to understand what happened and trace those responsible".
