Stoke-on-Trent ring road work 'could start in August'

Work to build the final link of Stoke-on-Trent's ring road could start in six months at a cost of £12m, the city council said.
The stretch from Etruria through to Vale Place was first planned in 2002.
The council will decide whether to approve the proposed spending of £12m on Thursday.
Officials hope that completing the ring road will open up derelict land and create job opportunities.
