Brighton: Family of foxes living in railway station

A family of foxes are living under a hut by the track at Brighton railway station, a train operator has said.

The mother and seven cubs have been filmed by the end of platform eight.

A Govia Thameslink Railway spokesperson said: "We’re concerned for the safety of our customers as well as the foxes, so we’re looking at ways to move the mother and cubs.

"As this is trackside, Network Rail is providing support and we’ve made contact with the RSPCA about the best way forward."
