Sorcha Eastwood: 'I faced disgusting abuse during election campaign'

New Alliance Party assembly member Sorcha Eastwood has described receiving "disgusting messages" and unsolicited images during the election campaign.

Ms Eastwood, who represents Lagan Valley, said defamatory material had also been posted about her online.

She is one of a number of female election candidates who have spoken out after being the target of abuse.
