Sir Jeffrey Donaldson arrives at Newry Courthouse
Former Democratic Unionist Party (DUP) leader Sir Jeffrey Donaldson has appeared in court charged with rape and 10 other historical sex offences.
His wife, Lady Eleanor Donaldson, a co-accused in the case, faces four charges.
Sir Jeffrey faced a crowd of media when he arrived at Newry Courthouse before the hearing.
He did not say anything as he made his way into the court.
There was also a heavy police presence in and around the courthouse in County Down.
