The boss of a drilling firm appealed to MPs to help her find apprentices so she can employ more young people.
After watching her Daily Politics film, Julie White told Lib Dem Steve Webb and Labour's Hilary Benn why a database was needed.
And she claimed apprenticeships were seen as "second-class education to universities" in Britain, unlike in some European countries.
