Grant Shapps on Vince Cable Tory ugly politics comments

The coalition has "made so much progress together", and it was a "shame" that Vince Cable had attacked his Tory colleagues in government, said the Conservative Party chairman.

Grant Shapps was asked about comments from the business secretary to the Liberal Democrat conference where he described Conservative polices as "ugly"

Mr Shapps told Andrew Neil it was not "terribly helpful for any cabinet minister to make comments like that, me included, so I am not going to get into it."
