Miliband opens Labour party conference speech
Ed Miliband opened his party conference by linking his ideas to the "great forming government of 1945" which he said could be summed up in six simple words.
In a phrase to be repeated throughout his speech, he told his conference in Brighton: "Britain can do better than this."
